A good crowd descended upon the outstanding and unique Ashwell Museum for a lunchtime event last Sunday. Guest of Honour was the Rt Hon Sir Oliver Heald QC MP.
After tours of the Museum, guests enjoyed a few drinks and some food before Sir Oliver reported back on his work at the Minsitry of Justice.
At a lively Question and Answer session, subjects ranging from Prisons to Brexit and Judges to Strictly Come Dancing were raised.
The event was also attended by District Councillor Janine Paterson and County Councillor Tony Hunter.
