Following the campaign by Arbury Conservatives, Hertfordshire County Council and Conservative councillors have confirmed that they have awarded an emergency contract to ensure that the 202 Ashwell Station Link service continues to run from 19 November 2018 to 29 March 2019.

They will be inviting tenders for a standard contract beyond 30 March 2019 during November.

In the short term, A2B Bus and Coach Ltd will register the service at short notice with the Traffic Commissioner and commence service on the 19th of November.
