On Sunday 25 March the local Conservatives attended a VIP red carpet event at the invitation of  Baldock's new art gallery, Gallery 1066 for the launch of their Spring Collection.  Guests were able to view the artwork on display whilst enjoying champagne and canapes.  The event was attended by Oliver Heald, MP and the Chairman of North Herts District Council, Mike Weeks, and a donation was given to the Chairman's Chairty, Sands.  The sun came out during the afternoon and the music provided by the Knights Templar School Band was enjoyed by all.
