It has been announced this week by the Prime Minister that Her Majesty the Queen has agreed to a Knighthood for North East Hertfordshire MP Oliver Heald in recognition of his political service over 23 years and his service in two Governments; as a Minister in John Major’s Government in the Department of Social Security and as Solicitor General until the recent reshuffle.
