Unfortunately, there is a District Council By-Election in Watton-at-Stone in East Hertfordshire.  This is due to the sad loss of our previous hardworking Councillor, Michael Freeman.

We have selected Andrew Huggins as our candidate for this election.  Andrew is an airline pilot with the rank of Captain, and an ex-forces veteran with the Royal Artillery, and is used to working together to achieve results.  In addition, he is a family man and understands the needs of local people and families and their hopes and aspirations.

Watton-at-Stone have been lucky to be represented by so many good, loyal councillors from the sadly missed Nigel Poulton through to Michael.  Those are difficult shoes to fill, but if elected Andrew will try his best to follow in their footsteps.

Working for the community along with the hardworking Parish Council,  County Councillor and our MP, Rt Hon Sir Oliver Heald QC MP, for the benefit of all the residents of Watton-at-Stone is what Andrew would like to do.
