The Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire, David Lloyd, was the guest at the Arbury lunchtime event last weekend, kindly hosted by David and Phil Whyman in Ashwell.
A large gathering heard David outline his successes since first being elected over 3 years ago. He pointed out that North Herts and Hertfordshire were some of the safest areas in the Country. He also mentioned how Hertfordshire had maintained PCSO's despite them being removed in other areas. This was done following their popular support from the public. David's main theme as that he strongly believed that the PCC should react to,what people wanted and to listen to their needs.
The vote of thanks was given by Sir Oliver Heald QC MP. He fully supported the successes that had been achieved and congratulated the PCC on his last term.
The active audience had many questions for both guests. They ranged from terrorism and cyber fraud to the forthcoming referendum.
