In my career I worked as a professional photographer, starting out in the national press which involved covering political stories for the Financial Times.
My later career involved working as a self-employed photographer specialising in Oil, Gas & Power in the energy industry.
I have since retired and can devote my time to Politics and Local Government.
I had been a Parish Councillor for some 12 years starting at Buckland & Chipping PC, which wetted my appetite for Local Government. I then stood as a Conservative District Councillor at East Herts Council where I am now in my 3rd term of office having served as the elected member since 2013, and elected Chairman of The Council in 2017. I intend standing again for Buntingford as one of the three elected members in 2023.
In am now in my 2nd term of office as the Conservative County Councillor for Buntingord Division at Herts County Council since 2017.
I have been a member of NEH Conservatives since 2013 and voted on to the Management Team as Deputy Chairman Political. In this role I am keen to manage and advise Conservative candidates with the upcoming 2013 local elections where we need to work hard to make gains on the number of Conservative seats on both District Councils, as a priority winning back control of NHDC and maintaining control of EHDC.
